Becoming a narrative designer was a thing that I always wanted to be able to do. With video games and tabletop roleplaying taking up the majority of my pastime in my youth, I began to become interested in what made games so playable. What made them enjoyable.

That thing for me was always games as a storytelling medium.

Years later, I went back to university as an adult in my mid-twenties to gain a qualification in Game Design and Development. I got a 1st Class BA Hons. Since, I have been applying for jobs in the industry and making games where I can.

I also believe in the crossover between gameplay and narrative. My experience working with many different teams ha allowed me to explore Ludo-Narrative development.

I work now as a freelance Narrative Designer and Writer, working in both the video game and tabletop game development industries. I have extensive experience working with teams of varying size in positions as a writer and as a team lead.

"Gamers can feel when developers are passionate about their games. They can smell it like a dog smells fear."
